Mochlos, 2007. This wealthy Minoan town lies on a small rocky island facing the northeast coast of Crete. Left of center are two rooms with central pillars, originally part of a three storey building, and a stone stairway leading up to a massive paved platform with a ceremonial basin. The white building at right is a modern chapel of Ayios Nikolaos. The view looks north.
