Silbury Hill, Wiltshire, 1985. This largest manmade hill in Europe reaches 130 feet in height and covers some 5 acres. Believed to have been built in four stages in circa 2500 BC, it is said to be the burial place of King Sil, who was interned sitting on horseback.
